Kalnapilis is one of the leading beer producers in Lithuania.

The brewery was founded in Panevezys in 1902 by a local landowner of German origin, Albert Foyt, and named after the German word "Bergschlössen" ("mountain castle"), later the name was transformed into a similar meaning Lithuanian-language Kalnapilis.

Together with a Vilnius brewery, Tauras, is a part of the group that belongs to the production assets of the international brewing corporation of Danish origin Royal Unibrew.

This is a light Belgian witbier with notes of banana, orange, spicy herbs and cloves.
