In 1874 in a small village Velke Popovice near Prague was built a brewery, which to these days is called Velkopopovický pivovar. Now this brand of beer is the most popular Czech beer outside the Czech Republic.

Velkopopovický Kozel Černý is a great classic Czech dark lager. Special dark is brewed from varieties of Czech hops and malt. Excellent taste is bitter caramel and roasted malt, rich flavor, slightly sweet, with a distinctive fruity notes.

The alcohol content is 3.8 %.
The density of the wort — 10%.

Served at a temperature of 4-6 °С.

A great, light appetizer. Suitable for salads, chicken, main course of meat. Willing to drink with snacks — nuts, cheese.
